This attractive holiday home is located in the middle of the beautiful natural area Meeuwenveen - Binnenveld and in between the 'Dwingelderveld' and 'Weerribben' National Parks. The interior is warm and colourful with plenty of space and comfort, making it perfect for two guests. The outdoor space features a courtyard, which is a lovely place to relax and enjoy the green surroundings.

There are many nature preserves in the area around the holiday house, which are wonderful for hiking and cycling. These include the Oosterzand and Westerzand, the Havelterberg, the Dwingelderveld and the Drents-Friese Wold. The area's extensive network of bike paths and various hiking trails will take you through the most beautiful nature destinations in Drenthe. Mountain bike enthusiasts will also be in their element, thanks to the variety of mountain bike routes that the area offers.

All in all, this holiday home is a unique base for exploring the woods, heath, along the fens and traditional villages of Drenthe province. The town centre of Havelte is around 900 metres away. This is where you can get your groceries, find a restaurant and a public swimming pool in case you fancy a swim. Golf enthusiasts will like the 18-hole golf course.

A little further away, you can find the picturesque villages of Steenwijk, Vollenhove and Blokzijl, as well as Giethoorn, famous for its many canals, and the museum village of Orvelte. You could also go to Assen, Hoogeveen or Zwolle for a day of shopping. In short: plenty of options here, both for a restful and active stay.
