This thatched farmhouse is located in the Frisian town Eastermar (3km) which is situated in the region 'Friese Coulissen'. The farmhouse has a large living room with a cozy sitting area by the fireplace. The open kitchen is also equipped with a small bar. In the recreation room you can play table tennis and shovel board and there is an additional television available. In the garden of the house, children can enjoy themselves with the swing and the slide. The region 'Friese Coulissen' is a landscape in the 'Friese Wouden' where you will find many cycling and walking opportunities. Near the farm you can visit two lakes; 'The Burgumer lake' and 'De Leien'(beaches). The nature of 'De Leien' is ideal to explore by canoe. In addition, the area still offers plenty of other activities such as a day Aqua Zoo in Leeuwarden, Klompenmuseum Noardburgum or Sanjes Fertier in the West Reen. Or experience the Frisian sports Fierljeppen, Kaatsen or Skutjesilen The area has for those seeking tranquility and active people a lot to offer. Highly recommended for a family weekend!
