From the spacious, cosy living room, and from the wonderful light kitchen, is a view over the peaceful heart of town. The bedrooms above are simple/chic. There is a light and luxurious bathroom, which is equipped with a double marble washbasin, big bath, shower and toilet. The three bedrooms are all different, and all very special. Two of them are double; the 3rd is a single bedroom. The living room is spacious and smart. The modern fireplace can be kindled easily. From the dining room there are 2 doors leading to the cosy garden terrace, where there is comfortable garden furniture ready for you. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, oven, and more. On the ground floor is a 2nd toilet. The garage has place for your car and bicycles.

PS! This house is easily reachable via Airport Niederrhein Düsseldorf (20 minutes drive).

The people of Hollands' most Southern Province, Limburg are known to be hospitable and have a 'Burgundian', relaxed attitude towards life! The countryside is extremely varied and for the ones who want yet another international cultural experience; the borders of Germany and Belgium are just a 30 minutes' drive away from The Joffers' House! How much more central can you find yourself! (Maastricht in The Netherlands, Dusseldorf, Dormund, Essen and Kevelear in Germany, Maaseik, Liege, Brussels, Gent and Antwerp in Belgium).

A HAVEN FOR NATURE-LOVERS! North-Limburg provides a vast countryside that is there to be explored! Heath and fen, forests and lakes, fields and drift dunes, rose-and asparagus fields: all in all a varied and green landscape that is 'interrupted' by the beautiful river 'de Maas'! In 5 minutes' walk you are at the river and just a stone's throw away from your delightful self catering holiday house you will find 5 SPECTACULAR NATIONAL PARKS, as well as several beautiful nature-reservation.

MANY WALKING-AND CYCLING ROUTES start just across The Joffers' House. They take you through the wonderful and varied countryside, along the banks of the river 'de Maas' and through picturesque villages and historical small towns where you'll find plenty of cozy outdoor cafe's at the riverside. Great stops for one of your lunch breaks or just for a cool, locally brewed glass of beer!

In one of the many delightful and nearby village, such as Arcen you will find the wonderful and famous Gardens of the old Castle as well as the 'Hertog Jan' Beerbruwery. Another well worth stop is a visit to the well known mineral Thermal Baths in Wellerlooi; the healing powers of the mineral water and/or one of the many special health-and beauty treatments makes you feel all 'anew and refreshed'!

CULTURE LOVERS; THERE ARE INTERESTING MUSEUMS NEARBY, e.g. The Streekboerderij De Locht in Horst (Museum about local life), and the famous War -and Resistance Museum in Overloon. Just across the German border you'll find the beautiful pilgrimage town of Kevelaer, and within an hour's drive you'll find yourself in the vibrant city center of Deusseldorf, Duisburg and Essen.
