Environment/surroundings :
Situated along the circuit of the "Elfstedentocht", in a peaceful village called Arum, you will find the farm of the Boogaard family. The farm has been divided into four spacious apartments which are connected to a large collective space and an indoor playing room, also communal (160m2), for sports and games. Dartsboard, table-tennis, basketball, table football, "sjoelen": a typically Dutch game and hand-puppets available. All the apartments have a private entrance and a terrace. The back door of each apartment leads to the communal play room. Each apartment is fully equipped and can be rented separately.
Groups can rent the whole house together and use the cosy communal living room, with a large sitting-area, a dining-corner and an entirely equipped open kitchen.

Environment/surroundings :
From this peaceful town, there are numerous activities
to attempt, such as hiking and cycling. Fish and
fairway are within walking distance. Discover
Leeuwarden with the various museums. Calculate by car
or by cycle the Aldfaers Erf route (museum route). A
big swimming pool with heated outdoor pool is located
closeby. The IJsselmeer has safe beaches for children.
There are day trips possible from Harlingen to
Terschelling and Vlieland. Other options: Sailing over
the Frisian lakes, hiking in the forest of
Gaasterland.
