Details of transport
The closest airport is located in Athens, the capital of Greece. The airport of Athens operates domestic flights from most Greek airports and many international flights. The easiest way to go to Porto Heli from Athens is via car- taxi we can book for the customers. To go to Porto Heli by car, you take the National Road from Athens to Corinth and after the Corinth Canal, you follow the signs to Epidaurus. From this point and onwards, the road is not highway anymore but it is a rural road. This rural road by very scenic and goes to Porto Heli via Epidaurus and Kranidi. The entire road trip takes about 2.5 hours.

Also visitors can take the ferry from the port of Piraeus. The ferry from Piraeus (Athens) to Porto Heli takes around 2 hours.
There are ferries to Porto Heli from Piraeus, the main port of Athens. These ferries depart frequently, about 4-5 times per day, and also connect Porto Heli with other destinations in the Saronic Gulf, such as Poros, Spetses, Hydra and Ermioni. The ferry trip from Piraeus to Porto Heli lasts about 2 hours. These ferries are hydrofoils, which means that they are speed boats that takes only passengers, no cars are allowed to board the ferry. If you are in Spetses island and want to go to the opposite coast where is Porto Heli, you can also take the local boat that operates this route. There are local boats from Spetses to Porto Heli or Costa (a small port 4 km from Porto Heli) and itineraries depart every 30 min.
Visitors can also go to Porto Heli by bus (via Nafplion or Kranidi) from Kifissos KTEL Bus Station in Athens.
